Some collaborations deliver more value than you initially expect.
What starts as a project or temporary support can sometimes grow into a valuable exchange of knowledge, experience and new insights. That was certainly the case during the collaboration between PKF BOFIDI and iSprout | Newtone.
From April to July, Juanita Claassen and Aishwaria Singh joined our audit teams. As part of a pilot project, they contributed to various audit engagements and worked on a wide range of client assignments. Over the course of four months, they became a valued part of our teams and gained first-hand experience of the Belgian audit profession.
After a short onboarding period, Juanita and Aishwaria quickly became involved in our day-to-day audit activities. This meant not only adapting to a new working environment, but also working across different clients, industries and teams.
This variety made the experience particularly enriching. Every engagement brought new insights, challenges and professional connections. In addition, they worked in a predominantly Dutch-speaking environment, creating extra learning opportunities. Belgian audit terminology, local customs and client-specific documentation required flexibility and adaptability, but these elements also made the experience especially rewarding.
What made this collaboration truly special was the open exchange of knowledge and expertise.
At PKF BOFIDI, we strongly believe in guidance, collaboration and creating an environment where people can continue to develop. From day one, experiences were shared, questions were encouraged and insights were exchanged. Not only within individual teams, but also across organizational boundaries.
This interaction created value for everyone involved. New perspectives enrich existing ways of working and help us grow, both as professionals and as an organization.
The collaboration went beyond the execution of audit work alone.
Through their close involvement in our methodology and processes, Juanita and Aishwaria also contributed valuable observations and recommendations. Their fresh perspective helped us look at certain processes from a different angle and identify opportunities for further optimization.
That is exactly the strength of a successful partnership: knowledge flows in both directions. You not only support one another operationally, but also inspire each other to continuously improve.
For us, this collaboration once again highlights the value of international knowledge exchange. When people with different backgrounds, experiences and perspectives come together, new ideas emerge and opportunities arise to learn from one another.
What started as a temporary assignment evolved into a partnership built on trust, mutual respect and a shared ambition to strengthen quality.
As Juanita and Aishwaria beautifully put it:
What began as a secondment evolved into a true partnership, characterized by collaboration, mutual learning and a shared commitment to continuous improvement.
This statement perfectly captures what this collaboration stood for: not simply providing support, but growing together, sharing knowledge and strengthening one another.
We are truly proud of that.
We would like to thank Juanita Claassen, Aishwaria Singh and the entire iSprout | Newtone team for their enthusiasm, dedication and valuable contribution throughout this journey.
These four months have shown that the greatest value of a collaboration does not always lie in the work delivered, but often in what people learn from one another along the way.
And that is exactly what we believe at PKF BOFIDI: growth happens together.
